Our open volunteer days are a chance to spend a few hours helping the 100+ rescued dogs and cats who call the shelter home. You don’t need experience, just kindness, patience, and clothes you don’t mind getting very dirty. The animals show their love with paws, jumps, and plenty of kisses.
What you’ll be doing:
• Giving attention, affection, and simple socialization
• Helping us clean the outdoor areas• Refreshing water and food bowls
• Taking photos and little videos to help the animals get adopted
