Meet Charlie, an adorable young dog with a big, happy smile and an incredibly affectionate, playful personality.

Charlie is wonderful with other dogs and loves children. He recently spent days playing with his foster mom's nephew, exploring the garden and searching for insects together. He's also good with cats. While he'd love to play with them, he's beginning to understand when they prefer to be left alone.

Charlie is a smart boy and a quick learner. His foster mom taught him to sit and lie down in just one day! He's eager to please, listens well, and occasionally gets a little clumsy. After all, he's still a teenager.

Sadly, Charlie appears to have been abandoned after previously living in a home. He desperately tried to get inside the house of a kind woman who eventually agreed to foster him. He also has an ear injury from being bitten.

His foster mom absolutely adores him, but with four rescue dogs of her own, she simply cannot keep another. Charlie urgently needs a permanent home before his temporary foster arrangement ends. Returning to the streets would put him at serious risk.

At just one year old, Charlie has so much love, energy, and affection to give. He's ready for a family who will enjoy his playful spirit, continue his training, and give him the security of a home he can finally call his own.
