Bernadette arrived at the shelter in the quiet hours of the night. Someone tied her to the fence and left. When Evangelia found her the next morning, Bernadette simply looked up with calm eyes and allowed herself to be led inside, as if she had already decided to trust.

She has the soft, peaceful nature of a Saint Bernard. She enjoys being near people, accepts affection with patience, and moves through the shelter with a quiet, gentle presence. She gets along well with other dogs and even cats. Nothing seems to disturb her. She is simply grateful to be cared for.

Bernadette is a large dog — around 50–55 kg — and will need space to move comfortably. A home with a garden would be ideal. She has not yet had formal training, but she wants to please and learns with calm guidance. With time, routine, and love, she will settle beautifully.

Bernadette is looking for a family who loves big, tender-hearted dogs. A place where she can stretch out in the sun, walk at a peaceful pace, and know she will not be left behind again.
