Mia has lived at the shelter since she was a tiny puppy. She grew up here among many dogs and has always been friendly, social, and eager for affection. She loves people and children, and she always comes to the fence for pets and attention. Mia enjoys being close, leaning against you, and sometimes offering a small kiss.

She has never known life outside the shelter, so everything in the world will be new to her. But she is intelligent, curious, and adaptable — the kind of dog who will learn quickly once she has someone to guide her. She gets along very well with other dogs, though she can feel insecure around very dominant ones. She does not do well with cats.

Mia would suit an active home where she can go on walks, explore, and finally have time and space just for her. She has been waiting four years for a chance to experience what every dog deserves - a family of her own.
